Textile-Inspired Abstract Wall Art Series

In this series of three interior paintings by Nargiza Usmanova, texture and color emerge together as light moves across the surface. Each work carries its own character, reflected in its title: Laguna, Serpent, and Scraps.

The turquoise tones of Laguna evoke flowing sea waves. In Serpent, warm, layered strips suggest movement and a subtle association with the form of a dragon. Scraps introduces a quieter rhythm, where muted graphical elements resemble a woven textile process.

Executed in mixed technique, the works combine acrylic on canvas with fabric, rope, and decorative plaster, enhancing the tactile quality of each piece.
